The crew

Ester the blogger

Ester is 19 years old and has just finished music high school in Norway.
She plays viola and piano and does a bit of composing whenever sailing life gets boring. (Never!)

While sailing she is reading for exams on her way to the goal of studying medicine. This includes physics, chemistry, PE and spanish.
You will often find her reading, but sadly it's usually modern literature instead of her actual schooling plans. No future here.

Her big dream is to sail around the world and experience every culture and friendship possible, while still maintaining her connection with the beloved motherland and people on Norway's west coast. Wish her luck.

Rolf the papa

Rolf is 55 years old and has a gap year off his work as a doctor in Norway.
He has two specializations of which I can not spell, but I know he has done some really cool work on immunology studies.

Whenever there is time to spare you will see him attaching cool things to the boat. Apart from being the technical genius on the boat, he also enjoys a good day of music.

Onboard he is supposed to be working with some cryptic medicine studies, but as I also have found - sailing life is not a life with excess time.

His big dream includes living a life where he can do what he actually wants, and every time someone mentions "circumnavigation" he will already start to shake.

On the big crossing we will also get help from my wonderful brother Knut. He is a mechanical engineer and an actual musician, playing the drums around in our home city Bergen.
